Constant Change…
This was the house I grew up in. I used to play baseball in the front yard, roller hockey in the street, and basketball in the driveway. There was a coconut tree in the backyard as well. Now it lays abandoned. Thanks to some people growing pot inside after we moved out. Now its in foreclosure. Oh well things change. Its a great house if anyone’s interested. I still have my memories (at least for now).
1 year agoWell Warped Tour continues on. We just left the town I grew up in and now we are en route to the Jacksonville area. Just reminiscing on life listening to the album Grace by Jeff Buckley. Saw some old friends today from a life that seems so long ago. Its amazing the way our pathways all divide and cross and intertwine. Sometimes they divide never to cross again. Sometimes the path splits long ago, and somehow without expecting, they cross again out of nowhere. Life really all comes down to relationships. Thats all we really have with each other. All different types of relationships intertwining, joining, going forth, tearing apart, sewn together, crushed, burned, weathered, survived, lived, and loved. Its nights like these where the Spirit of the Lord reveals the true meanings of life. That in such darkness, glimpses of bright lit hope are everywhere. A hope beyond our lack of faith. A hope beyond the broken relationships that occur daily. A hope in something more than this world has to offer. A hope that can heal. A hope that can forgive. A hope that can let grace be the judge and not us. A hope that can cry out:
“It’s a cold and it’s a broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah…”
Thanks Jeff Buckley. Peace be with you all.
